“Mmala” is derived from a Sotho word, which simply means “Colour”. Despite all the challenges faced by the LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer) community, it is also noteworthy that there is a vibrant side that the community embodies. Founded and facilitated by members of the LGBTQ community, Mmala Research is a market research company that focuses on providing different companies and institutions with insights from the LGBTQ community in South Africa.
